Nurse Jones, RN, MSN-Ed, BLS Instructor

Hi, I am Stacey Jones. I reside in the Raleigh-Durham, NC area. I am a mother of a 10-year-old video and football player. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, and being outdoors.

I have always known that I had a call to nursing and health care for others. I attended the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at East Carolina University, graduating in May 2009. I later completed a Master's degree in Nursing Education at Walden University, in May 2017. Over the last 13 years, I have worked as a staff nurse in the hospital with orthopedic, Med-Surg, and cardiac patients. After leaving the hospital I worked in pharmaceuticals as a telephonic nurse. During my time in pharmaceuticals, I obtained my MSN degree in Nursing Education. I transitioned to Nursing Education in 2017 working with BSN students at a local university. Periodically, I have worked with home health organizations within the community as well.

My name is Tamonica Hicks. I live in the Raleigh-Durham, NC area. I have an 11-year-old fur baby named Laila. In my spare time, I like to travel, cook, and shop.

I’ve been a nurse for 12 years. I chose nursing as a career because I enjoy helping others attain and remain in good health. I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Winston-Salem State University in May 2010. I obtained my RN licensure shortly after my matriculation. Next, I obtained a Master of Science degree and Master of Health Administration degree from the University of Phoenix in September 2014.

I am currently employed as a Federal Travel Registered Nurse with 12 years of combined experience in critical care, intermediate/progressive care, pharmaceutical nurse consulting, long-term care, humanitarian nursing, case management, and surgical services.
